Following the rapid spread of this deadly virus COVID-19, Health workers in Akwa Ibom State have called on the government to apply partial lockdown policy as one of the measures in containing the raging COVID-19 disease currently ravaging the country in a communique issued by a conglomeration of health care professional bodies being a coalition of the leadership of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA),National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) and the Association of Association of Medical Laboratory Scientist of Nigeria (AMLSN) in a meeting held at the Pacemaker conference hall, Doctor's Mess, Uyo on Monday 23rd march 2020. Blindness is simply loss of sight. It occurs when the sense of sight is lost. It could be depressing. It has a way of changing a person's life, dreams, goals. It has so many causes. Some could be congenital, due to intrauterine causes or exposure, hereditary, or due to some job exposure/ hazards. Man made and natural disasters could also play some negative role to the cause of blindness.  But I'll write about just three. • Smoking; for what ever reason people do smoke,it is bad for our health. Halitosis, wondering what it is? Its a clinical term for bad breath. It is not an illness but can be a symptom of a illness. It is embarrassing. It can spoil ones look or out fit. It has a lot of causes. But here are some major causes; • Dental cavities. • Gum diseases. • Inflammation of the tongue causing   coating of the tongue. • Poor oral hygiene. • Respiratory infections e.g sore    throat. • Ulcers • Intestinal disorders.
