Signs And Wonders Of Soursop Fruit






Wow..... I am sorry I have not posted regularly. I had some training to attend. It has been hectic. And some of you maybe wondering why am sounding like a pastor today! Praise the Lord!  There's nothing, I just wanted to sound that way. Now strategic to the matter on ground, SOURSOP.

It is really common in Africa. Its botanical name is Annona Muricata. Some people call it graviola, custard apple. You can comment in the comment box below on the different names in your country or locality so that our friends in that region could easily detect it too, thanks.

It has so many benefits but I will talk about a few. I won't over emphasize on it numerous benefits. I will just list them.....

• It impedes the growth of cancer  cells. Some researchers came out of  recent to say that it kills cancer cells.
• It is loaded with antiviral  substances. It is some times used  naturally in the treatment of herpes.
• It reduces / relieves  inflammation  due to it high contents of  antioxidants.
• It reduces stress load.
• It boost immunity because of its  richness in Vit C. It also stimulates  more production of lymphocytes that  help to fight infections.
• It lowers blood sugars. Which  means it could be used in the  treatment / management of diabetes.
• It kills intestinal parasites.
• It supports eye health.
• It helps to relieve respiratory tract  illnesses.
• It promotes health of the stomach  and digestive tract, it is good for  diseases like Crohn's disease.
• It promotes liver health,helps in  detoxification, prevents jaundice.

   Guess what? Its leaves are not left out too!  They are highly medicinal. It could be taken as fresh as it is or dried. But you will have to boil as tea. That's our local green tea.
