STRESS AND IT'S EFFECTS ON HEALTH AND BEAUTY

Good evening my lovely people. I greeting based on the time  here in Nigeria. I had an early weekend last week that's why I didn't post.

 So..... How was yours? Hope you enjoyed your weekend?

Today I am going to handle stress. It sure has an effect on your health and beauty.

So what is stress?
It is your body's natural way of responding to danger or threat. It may surprise you to know that your body has an automatic defense of responding to danger when it senses one. Whether real or imagined,which is known as the 'stress response' or the the 'fight and flight' reaction.

There are so many causes of stress but I will mention few.

* Relationship difficulties and family problems. ( which could be due to heart breaks,insecurities, divorce, loss of a love one etc)
* Financial problems
* Loss of a job
* Injury or major illnesses
* Imprisonment
* Moving home
* Retirement
* Criticism.
            TYPES OF STRESS
1. ACUTE STRESS; it's a mild form of stress which occurs to due to pressure from trying to meet up with deadlines, pressure from an up coming event. It is characterized by some symptoms like stomach upset,frequent urination etc. It is short termed so once the stressor is removed,it is resolved. It is less harmful but if repeated it could be harmful.
