Celebrating this beautiful union

This lock down period isn't so easy and smooth with Nigerians but let me disract you a bit.
This wedding got me thinking.......
Its sweet to find your dream man or woman, we'll talk about that later.
I had to do an exclusive interview. Your case may not be the same but it may inspire you
So here we go...........

ME: hello pretty bride

Bride: hello Karen

Me: I love to share love stories. We are eager to know, how did you meet your hubby?

Bride: Hubby has been a family friend but we were not close. I am a close friend to his sister.

Me: How and where did you meet him that has led to this love story?

Bride: He was based in Lagos while his family and I were at Uyo. I  had an interview in Lagos and i needed an accommodation

Me: I see.......Is that where the chemistry began?

Bride: The story is long.

Me: You need to start some where, who knows, you might inspire someone.

Bride:OK, He's my family friend like I said earlier, the sister has been my good friend since secondary school. Though he was never always around, he was a student then. So one day in 2016, I went to visit my friend at home, luckily he was around. He just asked me how life has been and all of that. I told him i was about  leaving for service as the discussion progressed. He asked me where i wanted to serve and I told him Lagos. So he said he could help me work it out to Lagos. That was how I got his number. Meanwhile, I used to be a little bit afraid of him because I knew he is a no-nonsense person.

Me: Wow, am already in love because of the story.

Bride:So, unfortunately, I was still posted to Plateau, I told him so he tried explaining that NYSC website was hacked, but he will still help me. After the camp while receiving the posting letters, I'll receive my redeployment letter. But i told him not to worry that I'll stat at Plateau. He insisted but i declined. So during my service period, he called me to ask how I was enjoying Plateau State which made me to refuse to go to Lagos. Once in 2-3 m0nths, he said he was curious to know what made me prefer that rural (Shedam,LGA) Plateau to a whole happening place like Lagos. Service finished, calls ended

Me:Ah just like that?

Bride: (laughs) Fly back to June last year,I had an interview in Lagos,V.I to be precise and I was looking for accommodation. His sister was with me when I got the mail. She told me I could stay at her brother's place, I refused. I called my aunt who stays in Mainland, and there's no way we can reach V.I by 9:30 am for interview. I called my friend who stays in Lagos, she said she doesn't know the area at all. Reality was beginning to play on me, that I had no option.  Grudgingly I told my mum about staying at his place.

Me: I can understand but you can't run away from fate.....

Bride: So my mum told my dad and he called him, he agreed to my dad. i stayed there Sunday through Tuesday, left for my aunt's place in Mainland. Still he didn't say anything, he was normal, even though he wasn't feeling well. When I  came back to Uyo,we started chatting,so oneday, he just said he wanted asking me something on phone. And he called and asked that he wants to make me his wife......... I no fit shout.

Me: Anww............ I get that feeling!

Bride: I wasn't even bold enough to tell my mu, because it came to as a surprise. And that was it. I later told them there's a suitor but i refused to mention his name.

Me: You mean you kept them on suspense?

Bride: Even my sister that is my friend didn't know till after some 2 weeks

Me: Wow! Interesting! So what gave you the conviction that this man is yours considering the fact that you had so many suitors?

Bride: Meanwhile, before this, I had dreams about him being my husband like twice, I woke up and started casting and binding......... See life! As we progressed,he said we should keep it low first. The funniest thing there is that when i went to his his we were both in different relationships. Even after he officially asked me,I still had confirmatory dreams, twice, weeks apart.

Me: Its a beautiful love story indeed. So what's  your advice to ladies that areyet to marry?

Bride:They should just pray with an open mind, believe and be patient with God.

Me: That's true. before we wrap it up, what's your for ever word to your hubby?

Bride: Honey, I love you, you're my superman.no one can love me better than you
do, I know its going to be a happy forever.......

Its beautiful to see a love sale off on a rosy shore,I wish you a happy married life and more bliss. Subscribe for more news and updates, while you stay safe.
